Dr. John S. Hatcher

Dr. John S. Hatcher, taught medieval English literature and creative writing in a career spanning 39 years at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He served as Director of Graduate Studies and is now Professor Emeritus.
He has authored books in five languages, published more than 70 poems, and was nominated for philosophy book of the year by Foreward magazine for his Close Connections and The Purpose of Physical Reality.
Dr. Hatcher earned the Hasan Balyuzi Lectureship from the North American Association for Studies on the Baha’i Faith and served as associate editor of the Journal of Bahá’í Studies for the Association for Bahá’í Studies. He has served as an Auxiliary Board member and currently serves as a member of the South Central Regional Bahá’í Council. He is frequent presentor at Bahá’í schools and conferences.
Mr. Santosh Kamath

Mr. Santosh Kamath serves as Auxiliary Board member for Protection for the state of Florida. He has been a Baha’i since early 1995.
In the course of his professional career, Santosh has been an organic chemist, an aerospace engineer (RADAR), an appropriate technologist (India) and until recently a college mathematics and chemistry instructor. Presently he conducts institutional research at a public community college in Florida. early 1995, following a spiritual quest that began in 1989 and accelerated in the Fall of 1994. The journey took him backpacking to Europe (in Berlin as the wall was about to come down), then to India and Nepal (where he trekked and witnessed his first transformational experience). His first love is the Cause, followed closely by his wife, Anne. Together they reside in Gainesville, Florida.
Ms. Trisha Irons

Trisha Irons serves as the Auxiliary Board Member for Propagation for the northern half of Florida. Her priority clusters include the geographic areas surrounding Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, and Jacksonville.
Professionally, Trisha has a background in marketing and product management. She provides consulting services primarily for non-profit organizations and foundations. Her education includes an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the MIT, concentrating in Accounting and Finance, and a B.A. in Economics and Math from Central State University.
